T-MAC MEETINGS & EVENTS

For more information on upcoming meetings and events, join our our email list to get a monthly email about the next month's meetings and events.

You can also join our Discord server. We meet in person every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Friday at the Center on Halsted. Our BIPOC specific group also meets at the Center on Halsted on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month.

As a peer-led group, all meetings, discussions, and presentations are led by T-MAC members. We are always looking for more people to lead meetings or give presentations! Have an idea for a meeting, or want to lead a meeting yourself? Submit an idea here.

Want to come to a T-MAC meeting? Here's some things to know:

  • Our official meetings are limited to those who are AFAB (assigned female at birth) and identify as FtM, transmasculine, non binary, or are questioning their gender. Meeting participants should also be 17 or older.

  • If you do not fit the listed demographic for the group but are interested in being involved in another capacity (as an ally, for research or for educational purposes) please contact transmaschi@gmail.com. Caregivers, friends, and allies are welcome at certain outside social events, but not at the meetings themselves.

  • While T-MAC is intended for people in the Chicago and Chicago-adjacent area, non-Chicagoans are fully welcome to join our Discord.

  • Please do not bring alcohol, weed, or other substances to the meetings, even if they are just for you. Snacks and drinks to share are always welcome, however!

  • Meetings usually begin with going around the group with names, pronouns, and our highs/lows of the week before moving into the presentation or discussion topic.

  • Try to arrive on time, but it is okay to be late! Meetings usually run 6:30-9:00pm, but you are free to jump in or leave at any time.
